Pre-Trip

This will be my third consecutive trip to New Orleans as a Bonner Community Scholar. I saw progress last year in the form of new houses and returning businesses. I am looking forward to seeing even more progress this year. I am hoping that the trip goes well and that all are kept safe in the travels to and from New Orleans. We are staying with a different organization this year and I am anticipating a welcoming group of volunteers, like I experienced with PDA. I hope to be able to lead those who are going for their first time to have a meaningful experience. I also hope to have a significant impact in whatever capacity we are working in when we get there.
